A note from the editors
Weeks of winter remain on the calendar and there is plenty of snow on the ground, but there seems to be a hint of spring as we send out this fourth issue of MSU Today International. Students and faculty are immersed in their academic pursuits, but one hears talk of spring break plans from time to time.

MSU Global Focus announces 2006 photo contest winners
Since 1999, the MSU Office of International Studies and Programs and the MSU Alumni Association have sponsored MSU Global Focus, an annual international photography competition for MSU students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Muelder gift enhances programs at MSU's Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies

Anan Chaikittisilpa, CEO of the Veena International Co. Ltd., Bangkok, Thailand, was one of four recipients of the Alumni Service Award at the 2006 Alumni Grand Awards Ceremony.
